Sonoma county based SolSolutions designs and builds portable integrated solar power and lighting equipment for off-grid, emergency backup and temporary power, for clean, green and quiet alternatives to fossil fuel generators, including at construction sites or disaster response. Along with this mission, we also provide, design and install permanent solar/LED outdoor lighting with no grid power needed. Our newest offerings are for full residential battery backup systems that integrate with solar and the grid, for 24/7 power.

We have been publishing high-quality soft cover books for almost 40 years. We operate out of a studio set in a garden in the small Northern California coastal town of Bolinas. We create each book from scratch, often starting with only an author’s idea, and do all aspects of book production in-house – editing, design, typesetting, scanning, graphics enhancement, and color corrections. We seem to spend an impossible amount of time with each one, managing only one or at most two books a year.This wasn’t a planned strategy, but it seems to have worked: our books have a very long shelf life.

We publish books we believe in. They grow naturally out of our interests, and we do all we can to get the final product out to people in as fine a form as we can, at as low a price as possible. we have never done a cost analysis of a book to determine whether it’s publishable or not. We just know that when we’re excited about something, we want to tell everyone else about it, and we turn it into a book. Our books are then distributed in bookstores by Publishers Group West (800 788-3123).

Beausoleil Architects was founded in 1992 by our two principals, Robert and Christine Boles, a husband and wife team. Bob began his professional career working on the first all solar heated subdivision in the United States, Village Homes, in Davis, California. This project remains inspirational as the design was not just about energy efficiency, but about building community and connections to nature, a real place to live lives and raise children. Our experience working on commercial projects has taught us that “God is in the details”, as stated by the preeminent modern architect Mies van der Rohe. Our drawings contain more details than most residential architects, and contractors as well as homeowners appreciate the added value in our work.

We are a San Francisco Certified Green Business, Certified Green Building Professionals and Green Point Rater with Build it Green, and Christine is a certified Passive House Designer. We are currently working to design some of the most sustainable homes in the Bay Area.

The Clean Coalition is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to accelerate the transition to renewable energy and a modern grid through technical, policy, and project development expertise. The Clean Coalition drives policy innovation to remove barriers to procurement and interconnection of distributed energy resources (DER) such as local renewables, energy storage, and demand response. The Clean Coalition also establishes programs and market mechanisms that realize the full potential of integrating these solutions. In addition to being active in numerous proceedings before state and federal agencies throughout the United States, the Clean Coalition collaborates with utilities (and other Load Serving Entities) and municipalities (and other jurisdictions) to create near-term deployment opportunities that prove the technical and economic viability of local renewables and other DER.

Gilleran Energy Management, Inc. (GEM) is located in Santa Rosa serving residential, commercial and municipal clients throughout the North Bay and California since 2002.
