Nehemiah Stone is an energy consultant who has worked for years on the integration of energy efficiency into multifamily and affordable housing through programs, policy development, research, economic tools, and building standards. For several years, he has been a consultant to the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee on sustainable building measures for affordable multifamily projects. He is currently the Principal Investigator on a CEC grant researching all-electric ZNE multifamily buildings. Nehemiah’s background includes years as a contractor, Humboldt County Chief Building Inspector, staff in the Building Standards Office at the California Energy Commission (CEC), consultant on numerous multifamily energy efficiency projects, and Board Member of several non-profits.
